Most of the time capturing great images is such hard work that I dream of winning the lottery and retiring to Goa but every now and then it’s good enough to just be in the right place at the right time. I saw this sequence starting to happen and simply pointed my camera in the right direction.
Guildford was the location for this urban portrait shoot. The great British countryside is great for portraits but city centers win for me every time. Suzanne and Billy are having their wedding reception at Durham Castle later in the year. I can’t wait for it!

I’ve shot weddings at some fantastic houses and today’s venue was no exception, the wonderful Hinton Ampner nr Alresford. Best known for it’s gardens it also boasts spectacular Regency interiors. In the 1960’s it was extensively damaged by fire and was lovingly restored by Lord Sherborne who also created the gardens. This was the first wedding at the house, not that you would know, the staff were always on hand to make sure the day ran perfectly. Highly recommended.
